People in Need (PIN), in collaboration with NEŠTO VIŠE, with financial support from the Government of the Czech Republic and the United States Department of State, is launching the project „Cybersecurity without Barriers“.

The goal of the project is to empower persons with disabilities through acquiring skills needed for work in the cybersecurity sector and thus increase their competitiveness in the open labour market. In addition, the project aims at changing the paradigm that persons with disabilities cannot adequately adapt to changing market demands, and consequently to influence the society to view them from the perspective of what they CAN and not what they cannot do. Therefore, PIN is inviting experienced trainers and educators to participate in a unique Training of Trainers (ToT) program focused on cybersecurity and the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the workplace. This training will be led by Rytmus, a Czech organization with extensive expertise in employment methodology and supported employment. As the digital landscape becomes increasingly vulnerable to cyberattacks across both public and private sectors, there is a growing need for cybersecurity specialists. Our ToT aims to equip selected trainers with the skills to inform relevant representatives (human resources, management) of companies of all sizes, from start-ups to medium and large companies, about the emerging need to protect their businesses from cybers attacks as well as how to adapt their working environment to persons with disabilities with reasonable adjustments. They will be prepared to replicate the training and educate employers about the importance of inclusive practices.
