Call for Applications: External Consultant for Baseline Study on Agriculture and Socio-Economic Conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina

People in Need (PIN) is seeking an experienced external consultant or consultancy organization for a comprehensive analysis of socio-economic conditions and agricultural practices in selected municipalities of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This study will focus on rural development, agricultural activities, and opportunities for economic independence in local communities.
The successful consultant will work closely with People in Need's internal assessments, covering key factors such as demographic trends, migration patterns, ongoing projects, and investment opportunities. The project is funded by the Czech Development Agency – Czech Aid, aiming to strengthen rural development in the region.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting detailed demographic and migration analyses in targeted municipalities.
- Assessing agricultural activities, key value chains, and the potential for modernization.
- Providing reports on socio-economic disparities and relevant investment plans.
- Engaging local stakeholders including government representatives, NGOs, and cooperatives.
