BiH u borbi protiv super zagađivača
From May 2024, People in Need BiH has been implementing the project "Develop a National SLCP Plan, National Methane Roadmap and MRV Framework" in partnership with local organisations CEEO and STEP, and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH. The project is funded by UNEP and coordinated by UNEP’s Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC). It supports BiH in strengthening national capacities for planning the reduction of short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs), including methane, black carbon, tropospheric ozone, and HFCs. The project focuses on developing three strategic national documents, advancing policy processes, and promoting practical mitigation measures across key sectors.
One of the core components of the project is raising public awareness about SLCPs and their impacts. As part of these efforts, a set of promotional materials has been developed to inform institutions and the wider public about the importance of reducing these pollutants for cleaner air and stronger climate action.
