AMPLIFYING LOCAL VOICES FOR EQUITABLE DEVELOPMENT in South Serbia

The story of the Amplifying Local Voices for Equitable Development (ALVED) project is not an ordinary story supported by numbers and other statistical data, but a story whose epilogue means a lot of new friendships and working collaboration experiences by which each participant improved themselves first of all, and then the community they live in. For almost three years (from September 2020 to March 2023), all generations of residents of Vranje, Bujanovac and Lebane collaborated and implemented over 100 different activities, often joined by the activists from Presevo who also made a great contribution to the overall results.
The primary aim of these activities was to foster empathy among citizens in the south of Serbia, encourage active citizenship, and celebrate diversity.
